If an order has not yet been shipped, customers may request to change their order to another item of similar value, subject to availability. Once an order has been dispatched, it can no longer be modified.
All Retro Rewind purchases are made with care due to the collectible and often high-value nature of our products. Please review the information below before purchasing to understand how returns, refunds, and faulty items are handled.
Refund policy
Retro Rewind does not offer refunds for change of mind. This includes:
Deciding you no longer want the item
Ordering the wrong item
Finding the item cheaper elsewhere
No longer needing the item after purchase
This policy applies to all standard products, retro games, consoles, and collectibles.
Sealed, graded & collectible items
The following items are final sale and are not eligible for return or refund, unless they are faulty or damaged during shipping:
Sealed products
Graded items (including WATA, PSA, BGS, CGC)
Trading card booster packs, boxes, or sealed TCG products
Once these items leave our possession, we cannot guarantee their condition or authenticity if returned.
Faulty or damaged items
If your item arrives faulty, damaged, or not as described, please contact us within 7 days of delivery.
When contacting us, please include:
Your order number
Clear photos of the item and packaging
A brief description of the issue
If the issue is confirmed, we will offer a solution in line with Australian Consumer Law, which may include a replacement, store credit, or refund.
Damage during shipping
All orders are packed carefully, especially high-value items. If your order arrives damaged:
Keep all original packaging
Contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos
This information may be required for shipping or insurance claims.
Approved returns
If a return is approved:
Items must be returned in the same condition they were sent
Seals must remain intact (if applicable)
Graded items must not be opened or altered
Returns that do not meet these conditions may be refused.
How to return an item
If an item is deemed returnable due to a fault, damage, or error on our end, our support team will provide return instructions.
Once approved, we will issue a prepaid return shipping label. Please do not send items back without approval, as unsolicited returns may not be accepted.
Returned items must be packed securely and sent back in the same condition they were received, including all original packaging, accessories, and documentation where applicable.
Once the return is received and inspected, we will process the appropriate resolution, which may include a replacement, store credit, or refund in line with Australian Consumer Law.

Nothing in this policy limits your rights under Australian Consumer Law. Customers are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund if an item is faulty, not as described, or unfit for purpose.
